Xian Lim had a hard time being comfy with Louise delos Reyes

WE can take  a lesson from actor Xian Lim when it comes to taking care of a relationship.

In those four years, he and his significant other were able to appreciate the spaces in their togetherness.

No more clashes. And they are now on a different level of understanding.

Was he able to share that with his leading lady in Viva Films and BluArt Productions’ offering starting February 6 “Hanggang Kailan,” Louise delos Reyes. Who admitted that she is in a “bubot pa na relationship?”

“We had a hard time ni Louise na maging comfortable sa first days of shoot namin ng movie. Ang location namin was in Saga in Japan. Sa plane, we tried to break the ice. Pero isang tanong, isang sagot ang nakukuha ko. We warmed up to each other doon na and thanks to direk Bona (Fajardo) and the staff (mga 16 kami na pumunta doon), naging family ang palagayan after ilang days.”

“Hanggang Kailan” is the story of lovers ending their relationship. And they took this one last trip with the person they love to say goodbye. But how did they say goodbye? And were they able to say so? Donnie and Kath took that one journey to celebrate their 2nd anniversary but instead, they agreed to make it their last  even if there are still sparks somewhere in their hearts.

Xian invested in the movie through his XL8 after some projects he has done before in indie movies. Add to that his passion for basketball which he said was the very reason he came here. He is now playing for Mandaluyong El Tigre in MPBL (Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League).

He and Louise do not share the same opinions though as far as ending a relationship is about.

Xian sees Louise as the martyr type who will stay in it until she starts to get numb enough to get out of it.

Xian says, “Sa akin, kung kailangan na talaga i-end, better na tapusin na. Hindi na dapat umaabot sa ganoon kahaba na pagtitiis. Kung kumplikado na.”

For Louise, “I have been through a failed one. During that time, I thought it was worth it na maayos pa na may pupuntahan pa. Kaso, nag-self deteriorate ako. Nag-self destruct. Cry sa ending. Until I realized  one day na kahit ganoon kami katagal, hindi ko na pala kaya. 70% na ng sarili ko ang sinisira ko. Pinaniwala ko na ang sarili ko na there is a much better person meant for me. Gano’n na nga. And he’s not from showbiz. ‘Yun lang, I have to tell him kung ano ang mundo ng showbiz, ng trabaho ko.”

In the trailer of the movie, Xian and Louise’s chemistry was felt instantly. Sa palitan ng linya. And their kilig actions.

Marion Aunor composed a song for the movie which she sang at the presscon, “Mali’ng Pag-Ibig.”

Let’s see where the lovers in the movie will take us. A once in a lifetime trip or a trip to right all wrongs in their lovestory?
