Millionaire maker turns emotional remembering hard days

Of the many hats he wears today, businessman and achiever Neo “Kuya E” de Padua picks being a motivational speaker as his favorite get-up.

“Eleven years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. With the little miracles I encountered in my life, nabago lahat ito.

Everything changed.

“Before, I used to supply talents sa ABS-CBN and GMA-7. Naging Kuya E ako because of Claudine Barretto and the late Rico Yan. Short for Ernie.”

Kuya E realized that he has a knack for singing when on the times after he speaks to a great number of people, he feels bored at some point. He takes that chance to sing to the people.

“Nasa Kuwait kami noon. I was invited to speak. Ang kinanta ko pa “When You Believe.” Na-touch daw siya with my voice. He gave me gifts. Pera at alahas.

So, I would sing every now and there. Small gigs na rin here and everywhere. Ngayon, may naniwala sa akin kaya we are having this concert on December 14, 2017 at the Music Museum. “Miracle, Music and Love.”

He has booked Lani Misalucha for shows here and abroad. But his ultimate idol is the singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid. He wants a major concert for his idol Ogie.

All he has done in life has brought him to where he stands now-with miracle, music and love.

He got very emotional. But from the heart, Kuya E is proud to say that without people knowing it, he has about 500 scholars and graduating students being helped in his Foundation. From his own pocket.

“My way of giving back. And the best way is that they do not know it.”

Recently, PC Goodheart Foundation of Baby Go awarded Kuya E an achiever’s award for his undaunting support in the field of business and charity. Add to that a special prize of being best dressed at the event held at the Marco Polo Hotel.

We will get to hear more of Kuya E’s songs from his album in the concert by Big Eyes Events/Productions.
