LOOKS like naging second home na nila ang Pilipinas with the concerts they do every now and then.

And before they left the country, Graham Russell and Russel Hitchcock, popularly known as the Air Supply joined the cast of “All Out Of Love” (The Musical – with the Music of Air Supply) to be staged at the Resorts World Manila on October 18, 2018.

In the cast are Mig Ayesa, Rachel Alejandro, Tanya Manalang, Raymund Concepcion and Jamie Wilson.

“All Out of Love” The Musical based on the songs of iconic rock band Air Supply is produced by Naomi Toohey and Dale Harrison for MMAP (Musical Management Asia Pacific) and this is their first.

The production boasts an Australian creative team and an all Filipino cast working together to recreate the high-powered, crazy recording industry of the 80s. The musical features an original script by award-winning Canadian playwright Jim Millan, with the classic songs of Air Supply masterfully integrated to create a timeless love story.

Director Darren Yap is directing the world premiere of this new musical.

“Having grown up in the 80s and hearing Air Supply songs on the radio, I am excited  to see these songs realized in a theatrical context. The story is a modern day fairytale, set in New York in the music business. It’s a love story  for all ages, beautifully woven together with the hit songs of Air Supply.”

So, which Air Supply song hits your heartstrings?

“All Out of Love,” “Lost in Love,” “The One That You Love,” “Sweet Dreams,” “Making Love Out of Nothing at All?”

My all time favorite is “Two Less Lonely People (In The World)!”

Baby Go is always passionate.

The reason ang unang sinabakan niyang pelikula through direk Joel Lamangan gave birth to more quality films.

“My apo Jia is the reason talaga. I wanted to see her lang sa big screen. Nangyari naman. Now after several projects, there’s no stopping na. At sumusubok na rin sa paggawa ng mainstream projects.”

Sa gaya niyang isang independent movie producer, hindi rin naging madaling makakuha o maka-imbita ng malalaking artista sa BG Productions International Inc.

Pero hindi lumihis si Madam Baby with the tried and tested actors whose names cross oceans to accept recognitions left and right.

The very reliable one is Allen Dizon who never says no to a BG project. As well as Ana Capri. Both have earned prestigious awards for the projects they do with BG.

So? What to do when there is such a demand for new actors? Manage more.

This is what she did recently when she saw that there are really a lot of hopefuls and aspiring actors just wanting to have their chance and fet that big break.

Two years ago, a lot have been called to be part of BG’s projects. They also had their own launching. But they never got to ink a contract with BG. Communications lost, and some have found their own managers, BG let them be.

Now, she’s done the right thing. Audition them. See the potentials. Then sign the contract. If minors, she has to deal with the parents. And those that have been given assignments already got their DOLE permits.

Madam Baby takes pride in her new babies. Two batches are siblings: the Calderons: Wynona (18); Woersha (15); Walline (14), Welcy (10) and Winter (7)-all dabbling in singing, dancing and acting as well as modeling. The sibling of Jeyzel, who got her screen name Celine Juan are also very good in acting-Jillian Angel and Jhorden Suan. Celine shares stellar role with Ai Ai delas Alas in “School Service” of direk Louie Ignacio, BG’s Cinemalaya 2018 entry.

There is balladeer Renz Buster, actor-host from “Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman” Angelo Carreon Mamay and half-Australian singer who wants to act-Jasmine Henry. Producer and MTRCB member Kate Brios asked Madam Baby to manage her acting career-to be groomed as a character actress.

After “School Service,” another Allen Dizon starrer will be featured with Lovi Poe, Snooky Serna and Mariel de Leon.

Then, Joey Romero will start to shoot in Madam Baby’s hometown of Dumaguete, the production’s first horror project where Jasmine will be introduced.

Already preparing their next directorial assignments are Neal “Buboy” Tan, Mel Chionglo and Joel Lamangan (who has a very challenging role in “School Service”).

All systems go as what we say. There is no stopping the indefatigable Madam Baby in pursuing her passion  as she opened her another film outfit-Global Films Production International, Inc.
