AT THE press conference of “The General’s Daughter” top-billed by Angel Locsin, she admitted that even if she was not able to have a project for the past 5 years, “Sumusuweldo pa rin naman po ako.”
Meaning, she is truly treated a royalty. A gem of an artist.
But on the set, someone is saying “Ako lang ang diva rito!” The Manny Palo. Their director!
Super masaya the time the stars (minus Albert Martinez and Ryza Cenon) answered the questions from the press.
Eula Valdez was duped by Loisa Andalio when she pretended that she’s a working student in real life who needed help to earn more. So Eula bought the stuff she was selling.
The guys-JC de Vera and Paolo Avelino, even the veteran Tirso Cruz III always do a “playtime” with Angel whenever she’s around. “Nandito na ang nag-iisang Angel Locsin!” They would blurt in unison.
Arjo Atayde who plays an autistic calls Angel on and off cam as “Diosa!”
The Diamond Star Maricel Soriano gave a 10 rating to Arjo for his performance.
While she gave Angel an 8.
“Bilang anak ko sa serye, kapag um-emote na ang bagets eh, talagang naiiyak din ako. Napakahusay! Lalo na ang mga mata niya.”
Janice de Belen says, “Napakasama ng karakter ko rito as Pipo’s (Tirso) wife. Kakaiba na namang challenge.”
Tirso’s kontrabida role will spark the hardships that Angel’s character as Rhian Bonifacio will face.
“Allow us to enter into your homes to give you entertainment with what we have to offer. Isang magandang istorya ma siguradong susubaybayan.”
Ronnie Alonte is Paulo’s sidekick.
“Kung noon po may atraso ako kay Ate Angel dahil nahiya akong pansinin siya sa times na nagkikita kami, ngayon iba na. Nahiya lang ako talaga noon. Pero eto, magka-katrabaho pala kami.”
And the Diamond Star was the one who admitted that the lovebirds are really in love with each other.
Angel is just so grateful to Dreamscape Entertainment for the chance that this be the project for her most -awaited comeback!
Truth and lies. Forgiveness and acceptance.
Let’s salute ABS-CBN’s opening salvo starting January 21 at the Kapamilya Primetime.
Together with direk Mervyn Brondial, direk Manny explored the skies, the earth and even the sea to make the scenes in the life of “The General’s Daughter” and the people around her as closest to the real deal!
All the takot, nerbiyos, kaba with one another were erased the moment the cameras started to grind.
Kaabang-abang na! Tutok na!
ARE YOU a fan of Rick Price like me? Very 80s!
This February, multi-awarded Australian singer-songwriter Rick Price is coming to the Philippines for a Valentine’s week concert tour with Joey G and Jinky Vidal – in CEBU on February 13 at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino; in DAVAO on February 14 at the SMX Convention Center and in MANILA on February 15 at the New Frontier Theater.
The ‘Heaven Knows PH Tour 2019’ will be focusing on all hits from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s – a concert you shouldn’t miss this coming Valentine’s season.
Rick Price, best known for his massive hit song “Heaven Knows,” has walked the journey many musicians’ dreams are made of. From the very beginning, as a nine year old and the youngest member of his families’ band, music was Rick’s passion. Since those humble yet defining days set amongst the backdrop of country Queensland, the self-taught artist has forged an internationally praised and respected career spanning more than three decades. It was in the 90’s when Rick secured his major recording contract with Sony Records and released his first studio album, Heaven Knows. Rick is also known for other chart-topping hits such as “Nothing Can Stop Us Now,” “Not A Day Goes By,” “Walk Away Renee,” and “Where Is The Love.”
Joey Generoso, popularly known as Joey G, is the former lead vocalist of Side A – one of the iconic bands that made a remarkable impact in the local music scene. Filipinos truly loved the songs “Forevermore,” “So Many Questions,” “Got To Believe In Magic,” “Hold On,” and “Set You Free,” which catapulted Joey to the top of fame.
Jinky Vidal, the vivacious former lead female vocalist of Freestyle, is still one of the country’s most sought-after singers. May this be Freestyle’s well-loved hits like “Before I Let You Go,” “So Slow,” “This Time” and “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang?,” or simply her lively rendition of today’s current hits, Jinky always performs explosively exciting.
Rick Price with Joey G + Jinky Vidal’s Heaven Knows PH Tour is presented by Wilbros Live. Tickets will be on-sale beginning Friday, January 11 in MANILA via TicketNet.com.ph or call 911-5555, and in CEBU/DAVAO via SMTickets.com or call (02) 470-2222 for more details.
