‘Call Me Papi’ director Alvin Yapan rates Albie Casiño’s acting

Three years in the making, a new “barkada” movie titled Call Me Papi is finally coming to cinemas this December 7, produced by Feast Foundation with Viva Films.

Its director Alvin Yapan who’s known for his films Oro, Culion, and Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa said his new movie is completely different from his past works.

Yapan’s new film stars Enzo Pineda, Lharby Policarpio, Royce Cabrera, Aaron Concepcion, and Albie Casiño. When asked who stands out, Yapan said Albie gave justice to his character.

What if sirain pala nung artist na ‘yun ‘yung buong eksena? At talagang kudos to Albie.”

Thank you, direk. Flattered po ako.”

In the film, Albie plays Ben who works as a waiter in a hotel restaurant. He gets his girlfriend Jenny pregnant. But instead of running out on her, Ben rises to the occasion as a family man. He takes care of their baby as Jenny figures out if she really wants a family.

Call Me Papi hits cinemas this December 7. Produced by Feast Foundation, this barkada movie also stars Irma Adlawan and Katya Santos.
