And in another time, it’s Ogie Alcasid’s “Kuya Wes” with Ina Raymundo.
Ogie’s was attended by his friends from the industry. With an after party in Neil Arce’s Tipsy Pig.
His Leila (Alcasid) came with boyfriend Lito Favia who is a surfer and has a restaurant in La Union.
Ogies said if Leila plans to walk down the aisle, he wouldn’t stop his baby from her dreams.
Ina came with daugther Erika. The one she said who would follow her footsteps in the acting field. And hoping to be the next Sabado Nights girl.
Piolo Pascual told me and Dolly Anne Carvajal that he’s no longer accepting teleserye offers. And will continue being a co-producer for Spring Films (with Erickson Raymundo and Bb. Joyce Bernal).
Bb. Joyce is also excited with the roster of movies Spring Films is producing for their 10th year.
“Yung isa, will be directed by Eheads’ Ely Buendia. When we accept naman a project, like what Ogie said, kaming tatlong producers ang nagbibigay ng go signal. It has to be the 3 of us. Ang daming magaganda. Pero kelangan pa rin talaga ng funds to do the movies. At kelangan din na yakagin ang manonood to watch and support.”
Citizen Arnell Ignacio of Juan Movement Partylist was with Candy Pangilinan and Gelli de Belen while Karla Estrada was in the company of Lyn Ynchausti and hubby Tirso Cruz III.
The movie is about “Kuya Wes,” a timid and earnest remittance clerk who falls for his customer in need, Erika. As Wes helps her from his own pocket, his relationship with his brother degrades, forcing him to change.
