Arnell shares OFW stories; Edu proves he’s from San Juan

HE just couldn’t fake it!

For days, Arnell Ignacio has been ranting in his social media account that anytime, his ‘katawang lupa’ will just get physically ill.

Appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte to be OWWA’s (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) Deputy Executive Director after his stint in PAGCOR as an Executive Director.

“Masaya and at the same time mahirap.

“If there is one thing na gusto ko sana na ma-achieve para sa lahat ng mga patuloy pa ring gustong mag-trabaho sa ibang bansa, ‘yun eh ang makapagtatag o makapagpatayo muna ng University o Academy para sa mga sasalang or will embark on a journey to being a caregiver, physical therapist, a domestic helper or whatever job he or she would want to apply for.

Kaya lang, kung mas pipiliin nila ang doon magpakahirap, kailangan din siguro na they are equipped to know their rights at ang rights ng mga magiging kasama nila roon.”

Not all stories we hear are true. On the other side of truth are more stories many of us won’t stomach. Videos are being sent to Arnel of some women who have their sidelines as escorts and dates of men for a living.

“It boils down to so many angles.

And according to the comedian, it really helps when he makes the people he meets laugh with his antics.

“You can tickle their funny bones naman, eh.

Back here, he is now confident with his Hair Creative Systems business in the heart of Greenhills because his only daughter Sofia manages it so well.

And not because ako ang tatay ha? Bilib na bilib nga sa kanya sina Fanny Serrano because she is one of the best sa gumagawa nito.”

And Sofia said, “It’s always exciting to work when you know you’ll put a smile (and brows) on someone’s face. Get your brows done by a Certified Microblading Artist and a Certified practioner of OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens Standard CFR 29 1910.1030. You will not regret it!”

As far as serving the interest of the people is concerned, Arnel Ignacio’s name will always be in the people’s hearts.

EASIER said and just after a few hours, we see Arnel with actor Edu Manzano sharing dinner with some friends. They have been friends for so long.

Yes! Edu has filed his certificate of candidacy and he will run for a Congressional seat under the team of Janella Ejercito (Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino) in San Juan.

People are intrigued. Is he not a resident of Makati? Where he ran as Vice-Mayor years back?

“I have been living in San Juan for about a decade already. Marami lang ang hindi nakaalam. And I am once again throwing my hat into the political arena why? Because I still want to continue helping our kababayans. Kung hindi man ako nakapasok before, it did not stop me naman from helping pa rin to my utmost kakayanan ang mga tao with the Foundations na tinutulungan ko.

“Hindi nga lang nagi-ingay. And mas masaya doon, whenever I am with people sa iba’t ibang locations where nakakapag-taping or shoot ako all those years, nagugulat na lang din ako na bigla na lang magsasabi ng pasasalamat sa akin dahil natulungan ko raw sila. Nakakataba ng puso. So this time, that is my goal and mission pa rin. To be of help and to help more.”

In a world where not only wits are being tested but one’s capability to face life’s harsh realities, how ready is he to pursue a dream?

“Maraming balakid, oo. Saan ba wala. I have always shown who I am and what my aim really is para sa mg atao. Happy nga ako, nandito si Aling Vicky (Hermie Go). She calls me ‘idol.’ She is part of the industry we are in. But she tells people who I am in her life. And now look, siya rin naman ang marami ring napapasaya na mga kababayan natin dahil trending na siya as Aling Vicky. She wants to help me na maipakilala pang mabuti sa mga tao who makes her trend in social media. Apart from being her idol, sa TV o sa pelikula, mas kilala niya raw si Edu, her idol.”

Edu’s character in “FPJs Ang Probinsyano” is now a household name. As Lucas. People are always looking forward when he will have that chance to come face-to-face with Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin).

“Now na dinadalaw ko na ang aking mga kabababyan in San Juan, parang wala ‘atang hindi nakatutok o nanonood kay Cardo. They know who I am in the series. At nagagalit nga sila for my bad character. Masarap makipagkwentuhan and bond with them. Kasi, meron something in common na na nakikita na nila sa artistang si Edu. at mas ramdam pa ‘yun ‘pag nalalaman na nila na Edu has more to offer behind the cameras.”

In the name of being a public servant, he will not stop doing what he is best. Serving!
